A Hands-On Introduction to Android for Java Coders

May 20, 2019 – Women Who Code San Diego held a three-session series about Android!

First session (Monday May 6th) – Introduction to the Android Studio IDE and the Android activity lifecycle. Create and run your first app.

Second session (Monday May 13th) – Introduction to creating a UI and making it responsive to user input. Create a whack-a-mole game.

Third session (Monday May 20th) – Introduction to building a multi-screen app and handling device orientation. Create a choose-your-own-adventure game.
